Poor migrants from far-off areas face problems of food, shelter and employment in big cities. After meandering for a while, they become susceptible to criminal tendencies. Finding them without props,· the haves of the society exploit them socially, economically and physically. Uprooted from their cultural and social roots people are famished of hunger, emotional touch and sense of belongingness. This organization is committed to cater to these felt-needs of the people, give them a feeling of belongingness and protect their cultural roots. People from remote villages of Andhra Pradesh also need help and this institution is for them also. But perhaps the helpless from other states need it more, because they badly need social and cultural bondage. Society has given something or other to everyone. They are fortunate ones who could succeed in the struggle of life and helped themselves with abundance. It is high time they pay the debt back to the motherland by helping the oppressed and suppressed ones of the society. The sense of social obligation and urge to fulfill them distinguishes a man from an animal. Otherwise, a man will be like an animal who lives a meaningless life self-obsessed. Jan Seva Sangh has mightly objectives that include establishing cultural center in every district of AP particularly in Hyderabad create a shelter to lodge and board atleast for three days for immigrant labours and establish a helpline which will enable every member of the society avail of social, cultural, legal and physical. |
